Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Dr. Nahin attended the University of California at San Diego from 1982-1986, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree with an Animal Physiology major and Psychology minor. He graduated from the George Washington School of Medicine in 1990, and completed a family medicine residency at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he received the ‘Best Resident Award’ and the ‘Award of Excellence’ in 1993.
Dr. Nahin is board certified in family medicine and is a fellow of the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Nahin was in private practice at Family Health Center in the Washington D.C. suburbs of Maryland from 1993-2011, and was repeatedly listed in The Washingtonian Magazine’s ‘top physicians’ as well as Consumer Checkbook’s ‘top physicians’.
He moved to Las Vegas to practice at K | E Centers for Advanced Medicine due to the opportunity to work with superior doctors in a state-of-the-art facility, and for the ability to care for patients in the manner that they deserve to be taken care of.
Personal interests include tennis and photography, as well as spending time with his wife and two daughters.
